Room integrity testing is recognised as one of the most vital aspects of any fire suppression system. Any suppression system agent that is discharged into an area of risk has to be able to remain there for a minimum period of 10 minutes, from the initial activation of the fire alarm or alert.
Insufficient sealant could allow your suppression agent to escape
A fire suppression system can only function correctly in a correctly sealed room. An insufficiently sealed room could allow for the suppression agent used in the control of the fire to escape too quickly, prior to fully extinguishing the fire. Alternatively if a room is sealed too tightly, the release of the suppression agent could cause structural damage to the room. We include integrity testing with any system we design and install.

ADC Fire Systems Ltd was formed in November 2007 with the amalgamation of two very well established companies, ADC Systems and SGD Security Ltd (Fire Division). ADC Fire Systems Ltd takes the positive features from both parent companies to offer a family run business, with the experience and third party certification to give our clients peace of mind and confidence that the their systems are installed to British Standards or higher.
