Project overview:
Within this project our team were commissioned by Calor Gas to install for them a number of addressable fire systems within a number of their sites for example in Neath.
Our experts had to make sure that any of the addressable fire systems were intrinsically safe. This is in fact a design technique used when potential hazardous locations can be affected from wiring in the building. In short, if their was a fault in the wiring in this project and caused a fire, mixed with the gas the building would potentially explode.
